Couldn't expect more from a concert. Elva Hsiao sings in Mandarin and dances like a maniac on the floor and she's dancing like she never danced before. If the only songs you know from her are "Cappuccino" and "And I Know," you will be pleasantly surprised that she has more than that in her catalog. This concert contains the predictable mix of high-tempo songs in the beginning and end with some ballads (not really her strong suit) in the middle. One weird moment is when she has a dramatic pause to stop and sing "I Believe," the theme song from "My Sassy Girl." Granted she is not a great singer, but in concert form she is a great entertainer. Lots of costume changes and energetic background dancers that will make you kick off your Sunday shoes. |
