NEED HELP?

Bad writing, acting, makeup and special effects. This seems incomplete in every respect. The premise is fairly good, but the development is childish.

I saw this movie in Japan when it came out. The line I stood in was all pumped up for this movie. I am a big fan of the anime and read some of the comics, but the movie version is yet another teenie bopper film with great young stars. The movie just falls flat on action and everything else.

I have seen the '70 and '80 anime show of this. It was quite entertaining. Unfortunately it is not same with this movie.

Very few fighting scenes, it was more Drama than Action. And not so good Drama.

Acting was bad (those two main characters).

I would not recommend this movie to anyone other than hardcore Devilman fans.
