Plot:	The adventures of the Longevity Monk & his disciple, the playful Monkey King is portrayed in this fascinating Chinese epic. Punished by the gods, they are sent down to earth reincarnated as mortals.
Overview:	An ambitious, highly-produced costume fable based upon the folk legend "Journey to the West," which finds the playful, once-divine Monkey King (now reborn in a human form) employing a mysterious time-travel device (the titular box) in his quest to shed his human feet of clay. A showcase for the comic gifts of the rubber-faced and nimble Chow, with plenty of dramatic interest, special effects, and martial arts action.
