Overview:	Among the partisans' troops that still remain in Mt. Chiri after the truce of Korean War, a unit that Captain 'Agari (Lee Ye-chun)' leads commits all the atrocity. Chul-soo, who begins to doubt of communism, becomes in torment when receiving Ae-ran (Roh Hee-kyung)'s love. One day, Soju who has been transferred to another unit comes back to Piagol with a shot injury on the shoulder. Man-soo (Heo Jang-kang) rapes Soju and meanwhile she dies. Man-soo kills some of partisans in order to hide his crime, and puts the guilt on Dal-suk, finally to murder him. After the military of South Korea start to liquidate red guerrillas, the partisans come to face in being killed. Ae-ran and Chul-soo come out on self-surrender during the conversation, when being disillusioned with their life of partisan. After a fight with Chul-soo, Agari kills him. After killing Agari, Ae-ran comes down from the mountain by herself.
