Great-looking film about rebels without a cause. The first part of the movie is quite funny, but in the second half, the mood becomes more serious as the movie itself becomes scattered and somewhat unfocused. Still, it has lots of style and funny moments and is worth checking out.

Not as engaging and thought-provoking as I had hoped, but still a *fairly* well executed film nonetheless.

It should be noted maybe that despite her being on the cover -- Chiaki Kuriyama's actual screen time in the film probably clocks in at around 10 minutes in total, which was also a bit of a disappointment.

Still, good, if not at times overly quirky, performance by Joe Odagiri (that creepy white-robed guy from "Azumi").
