Plot:	Sister Giulia claims she is trying to help cure Mother Superior of an illness, but in reality she is trying to bring about her death, so that she can become the new Mother Superior. Overview:	To prevent the young Isabelle from seeing her love Mario, she is sent to the convent of St Archangel, where contact with the outside world is strictly forbidden. The old abbess is ill and her end is near. But not near enough as one of the nuns, who wants to become her successor, slowly poisons her. Agnes is right in the middle of the struggle for power, as two nuns are eager to become the new abbess, but Agnes is also part of a struggle for lust and love.
