This is a feature based on a Ku Lung novel directed by Chang Peng Yi, and Starring Ti Lung. This one is not as good as the Ku Lung based movies directed by Chor Yuen starring Ti Lung, but it is entertaining. As usual for a Ku Lung based movie there are many plot twists but the story just does not flow together to evenly. Ti Lung and Lo Meng turn in some great performances in a story involving two feuding clans, as they each try to get the upper hand on one another. Good sets and good action. For those who are fans of movies based on kung fu fantasy novels!

YGreat pairing of Lo Meng and Ti Lung but unfortunately the story was all over the place. 3 1/2 stars is about right.William Giordanella
YGood call. Thanks for catching my error on chu yuan. Almost seems like his movie with the mutli character introductionsol skee

Plotwise this is just a disaster. Cramming a novel into 90 minutes is a hard thing to do, and Chu Yuan should have broken this up maybe into two installments. There are a lot of "wtf" moments from the beginning of the movie to the ending revelation. However, there is a redeeming factor and there is plenty of action to keep you occupied. Ti Lung along with an all star cast try to carry this movie through, but it just falls short.

YProbably 3and a half stars for me. Ti Lung and the cast kept this one going. The director however was not Chu yuan but was Chang Peng Yi, he does a credible job here but not like Chu Yuan.Sgt. T

Enjoyable sword fu flick in the traditional manner, bolstered by the presence of Ko Fei playing a blind assassin--wicked.
