Plot:	A tale of sex, chocolate and lesbian desire set in San Francisco's comedy scene--with a mix of engaging characters, including the angsty comedienne who can't get a laugh, her Asian stalker, and the straight best mate who prefers chocolate cake to sex.
Overview:	"Some Prefer Cake" follows the story of two friends living in San Francisco. Kira is the promiscuous not-so-funny stand-up comic, who spends most of her time serial dating rather than producing scintillating material for her comic routine. Sydney, a restaurant critic, is her uptight straight friend who will always opt for a nice slice of chocolate cake over sex. Corey is a successful stand-up comedian with material provided by her sister Kira. In an attempt to forget her inadequacies Kira chooses to hide her pain by having multiple sexual escapades. A combination of an argument with Sydney, her friends' opinions on her lifestyle, and the introduction of new love interest Robin, persuades Kira to finally take control, and reassess her life.
