After the first two films of the trilogy, I was expecting a whopper. Alas! SFLV is a straight-forward revenge story with none of the trademark flair or chutzpah displayed by director Park Chan-Wook in the earlier films. It's all quite dull and predictable, and I would advise staying away if you are in the mood for watching something intelligent with twists and turns. As a stand-alone film, it's not really a disaster, but suffers due to the inevitable comparison with its more illustrious predecessors. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

Great movie. I saw this first on DVD, then at a theater, and it wasn't until the second viewing on the big screen that it really hit me. I found it slow but interesting, especially the last 25 minute most interesting. The first two movies in this trilogy had, I thought, more depth and were more solid in story. I do recommend it, especially if you have not seen the first two as I guess I have compared it to them of which I shouldn't--but hey! it is a very good movie anyway and that is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
