It was alright. Typical assassin/mystery whodunit/redemption wuxia film. Lots of night shots in this that made it difficult to view at times but did not detract too much from the film. Fight choreography was nothing special. The plot could have been much better. I could go more into depth with regards to this, but there really is no point, trust me. I was fast forwarding through most of the movie. There's a thin love story that doesn't make you feel moderately connected to it till the end. Wang Chung had the coolest weapon in the movie and I felt he should have had more screentime, but he did serve his purpose in the movie. In the end, you can't help but feel sorry for the little kid that becomes a part of the main characters' lives. |
