This film had too much comedy and not a lot of fighting.

One of Cliff Lok's best (although he is not my favourite KF actor). Old school classic. Plenty of fights. Long training scenes. Phillip Ko steals the show in the finale. Definitely worth watching.

This was my 2nd Rarescope picture. I was really worried the picture was pretty bad in places, but it more than makes up for it with it training sequences. And the fight at the end between Cliff Lok and Phillip Ko was so entertaining and well worth parting with my money. I will be checking more titles from Rarescope in the near future.

I was a little disappointed with this movie.

I am not too sure how true the story is, but at times I felt a bit lost with the storyline.

Cliff does his best, but the action was average at best.

The basic outline of the story has probably been done hundreds of times, as it involves Han Chinese patriots on the run from Manchu warriors. The fight scenes are pretty good, but what makes film worthy to get are the innovative training sequences that the star Cliff Lok goes through.

Imagine doing a handstand, and then bending your legs down to clutch bricks between your feet, raising your legs straight up again, and then dropping those bricks into a basket, all while keeping your back straight. Pretty impressive.

The climatic fight scene is pretty long, but it is full of exciting moves.
