Plot:	Five people are brought together when they each experience a different supernatural phenomenon. Crammed together into a tiny car with a dog to guide them, they embark on a strange adventure searching for answers, traveling through a world gone mad.
Overview:	In this lyrical, surreal fairytale, the Spanish peninsula tears away from the rest of continental Europe and is propelled like a huge stone raft toward a catastrophic collision. Five ordinary people are brought together when they each experience a different supernatural phenomenon. Crammed together into a tiny car with an unusually friendly dog to guide them, they embark on a strange adventure searching for answers, traveling through a world gone mad. THE STONE RAFT slyly combines political satire with romance and apocalyptic parable. Earning three stars from film critic Roger Ebert, this inventive, award-winning saga is an experience like no other.
