Overview:	Sex and Violence behind monastery walls! Director Paolo Dominici ("The Nuns Of Verona") shot this historic sexploiter based on a true story on the basis of documetns found in the cloisters of San Giacomo in Abazia. Beautiful photography in the original locations for afficionadoes of the genre It is the dark Middle Ages in the Italian epoch, year 1632. Young Carmelia is wed out of political reasons already shortly after her birth to the one-year-old son of a noble family who are friends. When she turns 17 she refuses to accept the unwanted marriage and elopes (runs away) with young Guilianio. They have sex but shortly thereafter her parents stick her into a nunnery. Strict rules are set here and Carmelia gets into a catch-22 situation between two Mothers Superior, who both collide against the strict rulings of the nunnery. Sexual excesses abound. To top it off, when Carmelia becomes pregnant through her lover Guiliano, a time of torture begins for her that she almost pays for with death.
