Japanese heartthrob Eugene Nomura plays Hiro, a recently arrived singer-musician whose innocent amiability and enthusiasm make up for his utter lack of talent. His fellow Japanese pals and roommates include a spaced-out Rastafarian drug dealer and a wooden-sword wielding bouncer. One day, when one of them overdoses, the two remaining friends bag the body and lug it through New York in an effort to fulfill the dead pal's request to be tossed, like Steve McQueen, off the Brooklyn Bridge.
