Fantastic study of a family and those who come into contact with them. Despite it's length 'Yi-Yi' never drags and features some great acting. Moving and funny, some of my favorite scenes are those with the little boy being bullied in school by the older girls. Immensely enjoyable

Fabulous. It inspired one of my Visual Anthropology projects at University of São Paulo - Brazil.

In its depiction of one family, Yi Yi accurately and expertly captures the themes and details, as well as the beauty, of everyday life.
