Ultra-generic proceedings from Takashi Miike who usually makes entertaining yakuza films but this one has nothing that pushes out of mediocre territory. You've got the typical plot, characters, gunfights, and music to back this thing up but losing the creativeness that usually comes with a Miike film makes it pretty much as mundane as they come.
