| This DVD isn't all that it's hyped up to be. Indeed, it is 16x9 enhanced, allowing those with widescreen TVs not to be disappointed. Unfortunately the picture of the film isn't the best. It darker than that of Universe Laser's and moves as if there are no frames. What makes it better than Universe Laser's though is that it's a bit less blurry and the sound and video are totally in sync, whereas in the UV one the sound is only a split second ahead of the video.
As for the sound, it is a bit meshy because it is Dolby 2.0 and not 5.0, which makes the sound effects much louder than the music and background noise.
All-in-all, it's an okay DVD. I was slightly disappointed when I bought it but it's only slightly better than Universe Laser's. The UV one is most likely out of print by now too. |
