Overview:	Hamish Macbeth (Robert Carlyle) is Lochdubh's local police constable who's avoiding a promotion and would do anything for a quiet life. In his much-loved coastal town, a quiet life is the last thing he'll get. Join the residents of Lochdubh for the second installment of the Highland drama, based on the novels by M.C. Brown. Includes the following episodes which comprise Season Two: A PERFECTLY SIMPLE EXPLANATION Hamish is branded the devil incarnated by cult leader Malachi McBean. IN SEARCH OF A ROSE Hamish investigates the disappearance of a local fisherman, whilst Lachie Jr. stumbles upon a hoard of seemingly abandoned cannabis. ISOBEL PULLS IT OFF The green-eyed monster rears its ugly head, as Hamish discovers that whilst following a story, Isobel has met a handsome stranger.
