The film's monster is the legenday "Garuda" that was once worshipped as a God in Thailand. Subway tunneling in Bangkok awakens the the monster who hides in the underground caverns. The daughter of the scientist who first discovered proof of the creatures existance, Lena is brought in to aide the military in destroying Garuda. What folows is pretty much standard monster film action very similar to films made in Japan or the United States. Above average special effects are said to be the films highlight.
