Turkish anti-hero Kilink vs. the Turkish Captain Marvel. This movie was a blast, and it doesn't even suffer from being incomplete--the conclusion of the movie is recreated by stills, a feature familiar to Doctor Who fans. Anyway, it's not a really campy film. It's a rather earnest cliffhanger filled with sadism, courtesy of Kilink. The Turkish Captain Marvel comes off as a pretty decent super-hero, and there are some actually good camera tricks employed to facilitate Kilink's ability to disguise himself as anyone. The extras [on the Greek DVD by Onar Films] include some surprisingly racy (nudity included) Turkish super-hero trailers. |
