Not to be missed as it is one of best dramas out there, and to think it’s over 20 years old. Why don’t they make movies like this anymore? Both “Jean De Florette” and its sequel, “Manon De Sources”, are highly recommended, and prepare yourself for one of the most “whammy” conclusions ever. In a good way, that is. Wait… actually, no, it’s not.
