I was very disappointed with this film. From the pictures on the back cover I was expecting a good ol' fashioned Hong Kong shooter. Instead it was 95 mins of Anthony Wong talking to Michael Fitzgerald Wong about the tricks of the trade, and how in Hong Kong being a corrupt cop is the shit. Ok, so it had its good points, the script was good, the acting was good, camerawork, directing and all those things were good, but I didn't care! I wanted action, and I had to wait until the very end to find any and when I did it was a crappy knife fight followed by some shooting. Boring. If you're after a good story, script, etc. you'll like this, but if you believe the back cover and you're after some action try something else. |
