URGENT NOTE: This is identical to the Original French Version of the film that was later re-written, re-dubbed, re-scored, and re-edited to make the film that U.S. audiences saw as "The March Of The Penguins"--except that the narration is in Chinese instead of French. This version features an interesting narration done in first-person style of three penguins during the journey (a male, his female partner, and eventually their baby), and original songs by Emilie Simon. This HVD does not have English audio or subtitles.

Overview:	Each winter, alone in the pitiless ice deserts of Antarctica, a truly remarkable journey takes place, as it has done for millennia. Guided by instinct, by shadows beneath the treacherous ice, Emperor penguins head unerringly for their traditional breeding ground where they will pair off into monogamous couples and lay one egg each year. Until the egg is hatched and the little one is ready to dive into the Antarctic Ocean, the penguins' parents have to face all kinds of harsh tests from nature: -40c temperature, 250KPH gales, starvation, attack from predators... Standing proud on the ice frontier, the emperor embodies the most powerful moments of existence. Love and solidarity combine in the heroic struggle for life.
