Plot:	After three sisters from Harlem become singers, one becomes involved with drugs and another ends up getting famous.
Overview:	The glitter of success couldn't hide how they got there. Three sisters from Harlem become singers. Sister (Lonette McKee) becomes involved with drugs and Sparkle (Irene Cara) ends up being the one who gets famous. This movie tells about how drugs ruined Sister's relationships and eventually ended her life. It is also about the relationship between Sparkle and Philip Michael Thomas.
