This movie felt very uneven. Some of the performances were wonderful (Ken Leung: no surprise there), and some were godawful (Treach: again, no surprise there). Also, the soundtrack was inapproproate, amateurish, and distracted from the film. Often it was apparent that the scenes weren't working solely because of the music. All in all, close, but no cigar. |
