I recently bought the New Line DVD and was quite surprised to see that the film was miraculously uncut! Most fans and movie-goers stateside may not have heard of this movie because it was never given a proper release. Well don't worry anymore because it's finally on DVD and it's the best version available anywhere!

This DVD has 3 sets of subtitles. The first set is an English dubtitle (meaning the subtitles follow the dubbed script. You'll be seeing subtitles appear where no one is speaking from time to time). The second set of subtitles are Spanish dubtitles. The third set is an English subtitle that is a direct translation of the foreign dialouge. These subtitles do not appear when anyone is speaking English.

The U.S. version by New Line Cinema is the ULTIMATE VERSION of "Thunderbolt" out there. This version is widescreen, has the original language, and is uncut! The Korean version and the HK version and the Chinese version are all out of print and are inferior to this U.S. version. I strongly recommend it.
