| Tech Specs
Video: The House is presented in its original 1:85:1 widescreen aspect ratio, in a non-anamorphic transfer. This is a dark movie with dark cinematography, and while non-anamorphic, the transfer is pretty good, faithfully reproducing the dark hued colors. Blacks are solid. There's a wee bit of grain here and there, but it's hardly noticeable. There are no nicks, dirt, or artifacting issues.
Audio: The original Cantonese language track is presented Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. A Mandarin dub track is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo. Both are good, solid mixes. The Cantonese track is better with its full, rich, surround sound. Selectable English and Chinese subtitles are provided.
Special Features: Trailers - the original theatrical trailer for The House is provided, along with three other trailers for ERA DVD releases.
