Plot:	Street Of The Ronin is a project in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the death of Shozo Makino, the "father of the Japanese cinema". Its breathtaking and vigorous swordplay scenes and compelling dramatic impact make it one of Kuroki's best films.
Overview:	To most Japanese filmgoers, Kazuo Kuroki may not be a household name like Akira Kurosawa or Oshima Nagisa, but in his home country, Kuroki is one of the most respected filmmakers known for his insistence to be independent and for his unique style, combining documentary and intensive drama. "Street Of The Ronin" is a project in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the death of Shozo Makino, the "father of the Japanese cinema". Its breath-taking and vigorous swordplay scenes and compelling dramatic impact make it one of Kuroki's best films, alongside his earlier acclaimed works such as "The Assassination Of Ryoma" and "Preparation Of The Festival".
