As a fan of Pedro Almodovar, I have made it my mission to collect all of his earlier works to see his growth as a director. His movies still carry a great deal of shock factor to them, and this film is no exception. Overall I was only slightly disappointed with the film because it left me wanting more. This film may be for the die hard Almodovar fans only.

"Dark Habits" is Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar's depiction of a convent where nothing is quite as it initially seems. In his blasphemous comedy, Cecilia Roth (star of ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER) has a small role as one of the mother superior's former lovers.

Filmed in Madrid, Spain. Director Pedro Almodóvar appears briefly as a bus passenger.

A film for all fans of Almodóvar.
