Notes: Fearless Hyena 2 may be a non-essential addition to a Jackie Chan film collection considering Chan had virtually no involvement in its production, but it's packaged nicely in this 2-disc box set alongside the far more pleasing original. Fortune Star has restored The Fearless Hyena to good but not great condition. A brief featurette showing before and after restoration footage of the film master is included. While they have clearly made the print look much better, there is still some distortion, speckling and frames with blotches of green discoloration from age. There's a nice selection of audio options with digitally remastered sound and the original 2.0 Cantonese track included. All that's missing is the original English dub. Regardless of the track or level of volume, dialogue tends to be shrill and slightly hard on the ears.

Extras: Bonus material includes the original movie trailer, a newly edited movie trailer, trailers for three other Jackie Chan movies, a nice photo album/slideshow, and the previously mentioned "before and after" footage.
