Plot:	Camille Claudel's life is a story of passion for her art, and for Rodin. Her stormy love affair with the sculptor 24 years her senior lasted fifteen years; Rodin himself said Camille was his greatest source of inspiration.
Overview:	Camille Claudel's life is a story of passion for her art, and for Rodin. Her sculpture made love and rebellion come to life. Her love for the man and admiration for the artist were of the same fabric. Her stormy love affair with the sculpter 24 years her senior lasted fifteen years; Robin himself said Camille was his greatest source of inspiration. Yet her art and her love warred within her to such a degree that madness became her only escape: she spent the last thirty years of her life in an insane asylum. Camille Claudel was a woman consumed by a passion both creative and destructive. But she also embodies the plight of nineteenth century women who had to fight family and conventions so bitterly to be able to express themselves that they often broken in the undertaking.
