Plot:	After Pauline is abandoned by her boyfriend while pregnant, she struggles to support her new baby. By chance Pauline meets a rich man Eric and they fall in love; but Pauline's shame over her impoverished background may jeapardize the relationship...
Overview:	Pauline (Irene Wan) abandons by her boyfriend when she was pregnant. She becomes a courtesan struggling to support her new baby and her siblings. By chance Pauline meets a rich man Eric (Andy Lau) in the nightclub and eventually they fall in love. But after Pauline finds out that Eric is coming from a wealthy family, she decides to leave. She is shamed by her impoverished background. Eric doesn't mind Pauline's background. Unfortunately they have a car accident...
