Plot:	Oliviero is an angry alcoholic writer--and murder suspect--who abuses his wife. Soon Floriana, a sexy young cousin, comes to stay with the unhappy couple. She is a happy-go-lucky and sexually adventurous beauty--until she is viciously murdered.
Overview:	Oliviero Rouvigny is an angry alcoholic writer who is suffering from a sever spell of writer's block. He takes out his frustration on his wife Irina, who he beats and mentally abuses, in their remote Italian villa. The police come calling on Mr. Rouvigny as an ex-lover has had her throat slashed with a curved knife, and he is the prime suspect. Soon Floriana, a sexy young cousin, comes to stay with the unhappy couple. She is a sexually adventurous beauty who enjoys seducing the apparently mad Oliviero, his wife, and a local delivery man--until she is viciously murdered as well. A great atmospheric and kinky variation on Edgar Allan Poe's "The Black Cat", directed with much flair by Sergio Martino, who is best known for his great Italian thrillers of the 1970s.
