Plot:	Condemned gunfighter Clayton's life is spared if he agrees to murder a local farmer, Matthew, who won't sell his land. But after he develops a relationship with Matthew's wife, he can't carry out the murder and must battle the thugs to save his own life.
Overview:	Condemned gunfighter Clayton (Fabio Testi) is granted a last minute reprieve from a group of corrupt railroad moguls. In exchange for his life, he must murder a local farmer Matthew (Warren Oates, "The Wild Bunch"), who refuses to sell his land. Along the way, he develops a relationship with Matthew's wife Catherine (Jenny Agutter, "Logan's Run") and ultimately refuses to carry out the murder. He then must battle the thugs to save his own life. Directed by Monte Hellman ("Two Lane Blacktop").
