My only main gripe is the condition of the print and burnt in subs, but there isn't much that can be done about that.

I don't speak Cantonese but fortunately there are subtitles. Might be difficult to read sometimes but the movie is well worth it. Thanks Rarescope!

The English subtitles are of poor quality.

I really enjoyed this film once I stopped watching it on my TV and watched it on my computer. It was the only way I could read the subtitles. I prefer movies in the original language and because I am a big Chi Kuan Chun fan, I don't mind sitting at my desktop to view the movie.

I love the movie, but think that Rarescope could have provided a better production. I have four of their movies and have the same issue with quality and subtitles.

Widescreen but low res/def, and heavily muted in color (looks almost black & white at times) - one of the worst prints I have ever seen but apparently this is the only way to see it! Subtitles are readable enough to understand the story but certainly not so easy on the eyes. Missing frames in the first couple minutes. Trailers for Rarescope included.

Presented in its own slipcase and comes with a bonus card of stills and original artwork.

This film went lost for many years due to legal action threatened by the Shaw Brothers. Rarescope has only recently discovered the film in a Taiwan film vault and now it's presented in its full, uncut version in widescreen format for the first time ever!
