Overview:
An off-beat concept teeters between schlock and simple unreality in this drama about a high school science teacher (Kenji Sawada, a Japanese pop singer) who builds his own atomic bomb at home. Since no kits are available he uses his science class to work out the rough spots. At first the young teacher is an accidental hero when he helps save his students from the clutches of a schoolbus hijacker. But after his bomb is constructed the teacher holds the government ransom. His demands? Allow the Rolling Stones into the country for a concert (banned because of drug use). Do not pre-empt the finale of baseball games with other programs. Yes. His relationship with a scruffy police detective (Bunta Sugawara) rounds out the story and provides for a fittingly unbelievable ending.
I - Suitable for all audiences (roughly equal to an MPPA rating of "G" or "PG") Films rated Category I contain nothing most parents will consider offensive for their children to see or hear. Nudity, drug use, explicit language, violence and adult situations are largely absent, and if present are seen only briefly and at a moderate level.
