Technical Notes:A Chinese Ghost Story [US Version]

The image is a wide screen transfer of the film print, thus you will notice a certain graininess to the film along with the odd scratch here and there but the the overall visual quality is acceptable. The sound is an average Dolby Surround 5.1, there are two chinese audio tracks and subtitles in chinese, english, japanese, korean, malaysian, indonisian and thai. The subititles in english are clear and well timed with the movie. As for the menu it is pretty basic : you have the trailer, more attraction (Police Story, Police Story III, Jacky Chan : My Story, Option Zero, A Chinese Ghost Story, A Chinese Ghost Story II, A Chinese Ghost Story III, Theft Under the Sun, A Better Tommorow, A Better Tommorow II, A Better Tommorow III) and the usual cast and synopsis section. Overall its a good DVD but the picture quality could be better.
