ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Gamblers and card sharps, prostitution, and yakuza-style vengeance are mainstays in most films by master director Seijun Suzuki, and Kanto Wanderer is no exception. Boss Izu's bodyguard, Mr. Katsuta, is at the center of a violent power play by Boss Yoshida to take over Izu's interests. As he tries to maintain stability, Mr. Katsuta is thrown off guard when he encounters a dangerous woman from his past.

At the age of 80, master of style, Seijun Suzuki has consistently been at the forefront of cinematic cool for over five decades. From Quentin Tarantino to Jim Jarmusch, Suzuki's influence on the contemporary action genre is undeniable. Home Vision Entertainment is proud to release Kanto Wanderer for the first time on home video in North America.
