ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Moving quickly from casual encounters to substantial ones, Jane and Fung's relationship grows rapidly. However, just as things are going well, Jane is tragically killed in an accident. Right before the accident, the two were thinking of each other. Jane's dying wish is to go to one last dance--the dancing competition final in seven days--and her spirit takes up residence in Fung's body for the next week to meet that end. Though they have only seven more days together, their minds gradually fall into sync with each other. After her final dance, Jane's spirit has to leave Fung's body to meet her destiny. Despite living an incomplete life on Earth, Fung decides to sacrifice his own life to join her in the underworld. Will the underworld cavalry allow him to do so? Can they break the rules to be together again? |
