About The Director, Katasuhito Ishii
In 1995, Ishii completed his first feature film, "Promises of August" (Hachigatsu no Yakusoku). It was an independent, "off-beat" road movie featuring a famous comedian Takeshi Gundan. He is also known as a director for TV commercials and made-for-TV films.
