Brave indie film from the Philippines sets trend for independent digital film-making in the local cinema. Raw acting by the actors is a breath of fresh air. Wry, astringent turns by Ranay, Nones, Pumaloy, and Clerigo give much weight to an otherwise technically unsavvy production. Script is not one of the strongest points but is otherwwise able to draw emotional reciprocity from audience. Able direction by Pablo is docu-drama inspired. Four stars.
