Plot:	Dr. Caligari exhibits a somnambulist that can predict the future, Cesare, at a local fair. During his hypnotism Caligari compels Cesare to carry out fiendish murders. Tracked to a bizarre mental asylum, Caligari seems to be the director! Or is he?
Overview:	Dr. Caligari (Werner Krauss) exhibits a somnambulist that can predict the future, Cesare (Conrad Veidt), at a local fair. During his hypnotism Caligari compels Cesare to carry out fiendish murders. Tracked to a bizarre mental asylum, Caligari seems to be the director! Or is he? This silent German Expressionist landmark which features elaborately stylized sets, surrealistic acting, and eerily subjective camerawork was a groundbreaker for the genre of horror films and psycho-dramas.
