 | | | | Excellent quality all-around, but note that this is the EXTREMELY truncated US version of the movie, missing over 20 minutes of footage. If the longer version of the film had been presented on the B-side of this disc, it would have been a 5-star DVD. |

 | | | | | The HK DVD features the 119 min. version of the movie that includes funny scenes with Stephen Chow as a police officer. If possible get the HD edition and not the edited 99 min. U.S. version |

 | | | | | The American version of the film is okay. It cuts out about 15 minutes worth of footage, little bits here and there, rather than whole sections of a scene. The subtitles, however, follow the dubbed script, and therefore are quite wrong sometimes (the incorrectness of the subtitles sometimes occur due to fit in the context of the footage). The music has also been rescored in all of the fight scenes. There are also times, in which, in the original Cantonese track, the dubbed script sometimes takes over (such as the song being sung by the group singing by the sea when Longiy is looking for Abu). However, the US dvd contains commentary from Jackie Chan (in English) and a "making of" documentary, plus, a music video. |
