An outstanding film set starring Jet Li at his best portraying the legendary Chinese Folk Hero Wong Fei Hung! This is a must have for any martial arts fan. This set is in original Cantonese or Mandrin with English subtitles. I have of course seen all three films English dubbed but I prefer these three in the original language! The stories are better, for example in the dubbed versions Rosamund Kwan is Jet Li's cousin with the problem of being in love with Li. In the original language versions, she plays his aunt which makes the storylines a little funnier and more compromising. There is also extra footage not shown in the dubbed versions! All in all some of Jet Li's best body of work produced by the great Tsiu Hark!

The differences between the US 2-Disc and US 3-Disc versions are as follows:
  • The 3-Disc version contains each movie on its own disc in its own case. The 2-Disc version has parts 2 and 3 on either sides of a single disc all in a single case.
  • The 3-Disc version includes an audio commentary for part 1.
  • The 3-Disc version include English audio for all three films.
  • The 3-Disc version includes some small extras like trailers.
