A tale from Taiwan much like the "Lone Wolf And Cub" series, but slightly different. Yue Hua plays a government assassin who is out to avenge his brother's killers. He ends up taking his very young nephew with him on his dangerous suicide mission; along the way he witnesses much bloodshed and death. He even warns the kid he might die, but he faithfully tags along for a life-threatening ride.

Good fight scenes with kung fu, outrageous moves, and weapons battles. High quality flick with good atmosphere and interesting tough characters. Won't hurt to pick this one up if you're in the mood for an interesting classic in the genre.

This was a good movie. It had lots of classic kung fu cliches and the story was entertaining. The fights were good, The hero was a very likeable character, Philip Ko Fei was a great villain, and also a there's cameo by Beardy! It would make excellent Saturday afternoon viewing, and I recommend it.

Fighting is what I like to see, and this film has a lot of it. A popular cast, rape, betrayal, hidden weapons, and bloodshed. Chen Sing is of course the ultimate villain. Yue Hua travels with a boy to avenge his family's death. A must-see old school fu flick.

This movie was okay. The story was good and so were the fight scenes. There were a few scenes with superhuman feats that were over the top that took away from this movie. Overall it was a pretty good movie.

Good and bad. Fun and stupid. One of those that I don't know if like or hate. Lots of stars here. But none of which their best movie. Chen Sing shows is usual tiger claw stuff. Does a good job at it. Yueh Hua is himself, he's fun to watch. Always play a noble character. The storyline is typical revenge stuff. Leung Kar Yan has a small role and is OK. It's worth watching I guess. I can't rate it for sure. Maybe 3* is too much...2.8* perhaps?

YA little too much cheese (dummies, wirework, etc) to be a classic, but that is also exactly what makes it so fun!ZoSo
