Plot:	The Iron Ladies tells the story of a team of Thai male volleyball players that successfully won the national championships in 1996. Their volleyball skills and talents are second to none. What matters is that most of them are gays.
Overview:	In the tradition of THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT and THE FULL MONTY comes THE IRON LADIES which tells the true story of a Thai male volleyball team that competes in the national championship in 1996 with a team consisting mostly of gay, transvestites and transsexuals. Breaking box-office records across the globe, THE IRON LADIES has won the hearts of critics and audiences alike. THE IRON LADIES chronicles this team`s unlikely grouping when their coach is selected to put together a winning team, and she anounces that the team will be open for all to tryout. But when the coach selects both Jung and Mon (both openly gay) to be on the team, some of the more macho players resign in protest. In order to round out the team, the coach asks Mon to enlist a few of his friends in an effort to win the championship.
