All Men Are Brothers: Blood Of The Leopard All Content Used With Permission. ![]() ![]() ![]() One of my favorite martial art films! Elvis Tsui is amazing as Sagacious Lu. Based on the novel "Outlaws Of The Marsh", one of the four literary classics in Chinese history, this movie does the book justice! The characters' attitudes and personalities are kept true to the famous stories. I'm not a fan of wirework, but with the central theme of brotherhood and the well-written (or well-translated) dialogue, this movie is a gem! Many quips and jokes that might be overlooked upon first viewing. A really great detailed version of what is only a few chapters in the classical novel. -9 Dragons Shi Jin (see my profile) ![]() I like to give really brief and respectfully honest opinions on the movies I review. First off the martial arts in the movies was entertaining and above average. I am a fan of Tsui Kam-Kong, along with a couple other perfomers in this movie. The plot was evenly paced, a re - make from the Shaw Bros. film. I strongly suggest one add this film to their repertoire. My rating is not inflated. ![]() Not bad, but nothing too spcial about this film. The lead actor really lacks martial art training. Buy this if you, just like me, got to have every kung fu film out there
Lin Chung, Tony Leung, is an extremely devoted and virtuous military official in the Sung dynasty, unfortunately his fellows are not as upright. Due to court intrigues he is deprived of all he loves and possesses, and only two of his friends stand by him. A story of perversely strong loyalty in the face of persecution, this movie is almost a catalogue of degradation. Lin Chung is like the devoted revolutionary sent to the gulag, yet still enthusiastic in his support of the party. A somewhat dull movie with some solid performances and a few good fights. -Meixner
