I had high hopes for this film. It was post-Shaw era but before the new wave wire fu movies. It had Kara Hui Ying-Hung, who I always list as a plus. Unfortunately, the plot is just a little silly and worst of all the martial arts are all modern wushu, no traditional kung fu. Without good fight scenes, it is hard to overlook all the little flaws.
