| ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Born in 1960 in Bonghwa, Kim Ki-duk went to Paris to study painting in 1992. After returning to Korea, he won the Best Scenarist Award from the Scenarist Association with "Painter and Prisoner" in 1994. He made his feature debut with "Crocodile" in 1996. Since then he has made "Wild Animal," "Birdcage Inn," "The Isle," and "Real Fiction." "Address Unknown" was selected for the competition at the Venice Film Festival. |
