I enjoyed this movie, and I think the main reason why is how real the characters were developed. The child in the film reminded me so much of my own spoiled cousins who never appreciate what they have. The grandmother, much like my grandparents, providing what they can to please, but seemingly to no avail; these kids always wanted more.
I highly recommend this movie as a gift to either your parents or grandmothers. Viewing it with them is truly a treat as both sides can definitely relate and find some kind of similarity between the characters on screen and your own reality.

This movie is the best of all time. I watched this very touching movie two days ago, and I am still crying. It teaches us kindness--and I wish you directors and writers continue to make films like this--I fell in love with that little grandmother... She is the best Korean actress. I want to know her... I love Korean movies and I think the best movie in the world is "The Way Home". Thank you Koreans for making movies, teaching us kindness and love. I think you Koreans are the best.
